long time no update. like usual. i don't care.
its thanksgiving. i'm sitting here, by myself, contemplating on what i should have for dinner later. perhaps a turkey sandwich to get in the spirit. or not. maybe just some budweiser and fried chicken. there has been a price is right marathon on today... its like a little piece of heaven. matthew just left for work so the rest of the day is "justine day" where i will take the longest shower ever, read my new freud biography, hang out with lydia, and pretend like i'm going to finish cleaning.
tomorrow i have to work. i don't understand why we don't get a long weekend like everyone else. then tomorrow evening miss seana is coming over. this excites me in ways you cannot imagine, as i have not seen her in MONTHS. then saturday i get MY thanksgiving, a belated thanksgiving at the bartlett's house. i'm trying to think of something to make so i can contribute but honestly, it probably wouldn't be that good so i may just give up trying. sunday i told matt i just want to stay in bed all day. i want to munch on snacks, watch tv, and spend serious quality time with him. thats what sundays are good for.
last weekend was awesome. me, holly, wes, and matt went to north conway. we rented this nice little loft to stay in, shopped a bunch, got wicked drunk, and just had a damn good time. its nice. i now have family i inherently trust.
other than that, things have just been blah. not good, not bad, just happening. all of my days seem to blur into one, with shining highlights here and there. the highlights are usually good enough to make me smile so i'm content with that.
ok i need to get out of this chair and turn off football. "justine day" has commenced.

i'm sitting at work... without much to do... anxious to go home... so i figured i'd update to kill some time.
my new furniture has been delivered to the new apartment and i'm so excited to see it all! we got a red couch, a red love seat, a new bedroom set and a hightop kitchen table with 4 stools. matt has been at the new place all day setting everything up and unpacking stuff and hanging our pictures on the wall. after work my coworker bob is driving me back there and we'll have a beer and admire my new pad. a-mazing.
lydia the kitty seems to be adjusting pretty well. she wants to eat smee the bird but we just keep them separate. other than that, she won't eat any dry food but wants wet food all the time... she's a weirdo. the vet said that was ok though so i guess i won't worry about it.
i've also been back in the swing of wedding planning. luckily, my bridesmaids all like the dress i picked out so hopefully next month sometime we will get together and check it out in person. i told them i'm stealing them for the day for wedding stuff and lunch and fun so hopefully they don't mind. honestly, i don't care if they do, i'm stealing them anyway.
in closing, come see my new apartment sometime. it's in auburn and pretty sweet. after this month school is done so come sept i will have a ton more free time to hang out. make plans with me.

i basically have a lot to write about... read it all if you really feel like it. but who knows, i might crap out halfway through and give up. maybe if i updated this a bit more i wouldn't feel the urge for ridiculous posts. oh well!
i'll start with my birthday, which was june 9th. what a good fucking day and night! my coworker john gave me a bag of riesen, which i love, and my other coworker bob brought me in a cake that said "happy birthday midget". it was so cute!! that night a bunch of people showed up at my place to drink beers and hang out. it was probably my best birthday ever. so thank you thank you thank you to people that cared enough to show up!
so i went to the dominican republic with matt, my mom and my brother. it was amazing! our rooms were right at the pool and only like 30 yards from the beach. matt and i did a ton of snorkeling and saw some wicked cool fish. we also all did an excursion where you take indivdual speed boats out to a really nice snorkeling spot. i let matt drive it cuz i was a little nervous but it was wicked fun. on the last full day there me, matt and my brother went parasailing which was soooo cool. the only thing that made me nervous is they take you from the beach on this little, open, wicked fast boat... then pull up aside the parasailing boat and while they are both going wicked fast you have to jump from one to the other. that was nerve wracking but still a pretty fun experience.
of course, once we got back i was suddenly deathly ill so now i've missed my first two classes of the new semester and almost a week of work. i've been on antibiotics for a few days but still feeling like crap. i wish the doctor had done a little more to see whats wrong with me because a normal cold shouldn't go on this long.
we've also started looking at apartments and aren't really impressed by any of them. this is disappointing because we are hoping to sign a lease for aug 1 and that's coming up pretty fast. we are looking into a duplex in derry and i made a call for a place in auburn so hopefully one of those is more what we're looking for.
matt also still doesn't have a start date for salem fire which is becoming difficult. our finances are so out of whack right now and we have so much that we need to pay for. we looked into a few cars for me but i can't say definitively what we can afford before i budget with his salary. so he's been picking up shifts on the ambulance to try and balance things out but having a start date would definitely make me feel better.
also, people from the past... i'm not exactly sure what to say about this. i had two old "friends" send me messages apologizing for everything. well, i have too much going on and too many real friends to worry about you guys. sorry, but you should've thought about this shit before pulling the crap you did. i was also made aware of comments someone made directed at me... jealous much? i'm not even mad about it, i just can't believe how ridiculous it is.
well i still feel like crap so i'm gonna lay down, watch crappy tv and wait for matt to get home. hope all is well with everyone.

things are so, so good. honestly. the worst thing about my life right now is the hole wearing in the right elbow of my favorite hoodie. but even that can be fixed.
saturday is my birthday. i'll be 23. i'm having a party of sorts at my apartment that night. if you read this and i don't hate you, you're more than welcome to come. if you read this and i do hate you, and you know who you are, don't come. i won't let you in anyway. oh, and byob you cheap fucks.
lots of things are coming up and i'm pretty excited about all of it. in 3 weeks or so i'm going on vacation to the dominican republic with my mom, teddy and matt. then in august matt and i are moving to lawrence... and although i'm not thrilled with the prospect of living in lawrence, we'll at least be able to find a nicer apartment and big enough to fit us and all our crap. also, august i finally get my license back. this means more freedom, more hanging out with people, and finally being able to just go and do whatever i need to do without asking someone to take me. AND august, i'm done college. this is an awesome summer.
after all that is said i done i need to really start finalizing wedding plans. i can no longer say "oh it's over a year away, i have plenty of time" because i know, at this point, everything is going to sneak up on me and i want to be prepared. we booked a location, an officiant, and have a tenative dj so, so far so good.
oh and by the way, i love fishing. i go as often as possible. so to end this entry, here is my biggest catch so far this season:

i still read my friends list occasionally (or skim it i should say, and stop at the good parts) but i rarely ever write in here. and if i do it's usually VERY filtered to certain people because, honestly, most people on here don't need to know some of the things i write. i've been updating my myspace blog more often with random writings about my day but again, nothing really serious. so if you're ever bored you can read that. for now, if you were at all curious as to what has been going on with me here it is, in convenient list form.
-in 14 months i am marrying the most amazing man i've ever met
-i am moving to the lawrence/haverhill area in august/september
-in august, in addition to moving, i will also graduate college with an associates degree and finally get my license back
those are all the biggest. the smaller goings on (but no less important) are:
-i own 2 fishies. a maroon clownfish (calico jack) and a six striped wrasse (fritz dilsour). they are the best.
-my snake is well. and a boy, not a girl. so it's new name is vincent. when i found this out i apologized profusely to him for calling him a girl's name for the past 9 months.
-i'm still a receptionist for a trash company.
-i am still way cooler than you.
